Interior plot problems

Ever since I stopped using Workshop Rearranged because it caused crashes, I noticed that interior plots have hard time fitting in self built structures. I noticed that as long as I have not built a wall part the plot snaps to floor easily. If the wall is already built plot usually wont go even near the wall without going red. When I place the plot on floor I cannot place the wall piece to where the ASAM sensor is because it is on the way. I can place wall everywhere else without problem. I guess the wall part or ASAM part needs to be taken slightly inwards to remedy this situation. I have currently no other workshop mods in use that affect the workshop parts.

Yeah, unfortunately that is just the way vanilla snapping works. Workshop Rearranged makes some changes to the default snapping behavior to make placing things like interior walls a lot easier(or just plain possible). Without it, you always need to make sure to leave at least 1 wall and floor area open when you place down the plot so it can snap. F4SE and Place Everywhere are a must to let you move a floor tile out of the way and just float it somewhere temporarily so you can place down a plot and then move it back again. Make sure to take advantage of Place Everywhere's hotkeys. The '=' and '0' can quickly become a builder's best friends.

If you don't already use them, I'd also recommend trying out any combination of G2M Workshop, Thematic and Practical, and Woody's Wasteland Stuff if only to replace the half walls and roofs from Workshop Rearranged. Woody's stuff is especially nice since it comes with interior and exterior conduit connectors that turn his walls into power emitters so you can more easily power all those plots.

Funny thing is that I noticed the problem being with basic wooden floor tiles. Barn floor tiles had no issues whatsoever.

Just I was in trouble with the above problem.
It is appreciated information that there is no problem on the floor of the barn.
I want to solve with MOD, but Workshop Rearranged is too big and G2M Workshop does not work.

I have to admit, the way so many thing in the base building kit do not *quite* fit together make me consider violence. The height of the stairs that has the little platforms is just *slightly* more than wall hieght. The horizontal length of the stairs than lock to floor edges is not *quite* 1.5 floor blocks.

I spent hours last night playing with creating a bunkhouse at that cottage in the NE coast, and I finally said the heck with it and decided to clear out the fishpacking plant.

Many times I just use Place Everywhere (anywhere?) and leave surface snap on, but object lock off... I align with one wall and align with 90 degree wall... only way to put the plots in the houses at Sanctuary IMHO.

Another hack to workaround this with Place Everywhere is to save the plot's position, use the "nudge" keys to move it away (this doesn't trigger a tear down), add the walls or whatever, and then restore the plot's position.

This works as well. I always do a refresh plot as well.
