This HQ has had me baffled always, I just don't get it. What is this and how do I fix it. I have upgraded to 3.3.0 hoping it would make thing easier434152467_949581433448866_1392140793659501799_n.jpg

This screen tells you that the total manpower in the Facilities department is not enough to finish this project.
Each department is based around one SPECIAL trait, Facilities specifically are based on Strength so the total Strength value of all members of the Facilities department must be equal or greater than the project requirement.

The personnel must also be available, meaning they are not engaged in a different project.
If you go into the workshop mode in HQ the panel on the upper part of your monitor should display currently available departments, and their respective values.
Alternatively if you select the option to manage a department you will also get a list of potential and current members of that department.

A common recommendation is to enlist Mama Murphy as she has a value of 19 and can finish projects like this one single-handedly.
That drug fueled supercleaner grandma is worth her money.

Strong (the base game Super Mutant companion) is also an excellent choice for the Facilities Department - dude has a 24 in STR. It does mean having to hear his incredibly repetitive idle dialog lines every time you're in the HQ though.
All of the companions (except for Curie's Synth form for some reason) have great SPECIAL stats, actually.

Ok so as you can see from the picture 1 I should have it set so there are no spending limits, and in picture 2 when i am in workshop mode the hud no longer shous the individual jobs.

I was hesitant in recruiting Strong for that very same reason - also I am pretty sure he'd drink all the milk in our fridges and that's too much of a risk.
Imagine someone like Aiden spiking the milk he left in the fridge with laxatives, as is proper office etiquette when your food goes missing.
Pretty sure we'd have a civil war rage in HQ between Facilities, Engineering and...Aiden, I guess.

Ok wow that is really weird. I can honestly say I never encountered anything like that so far, maybe some of the senior members could chip in if there is anything built into the SS2 mod that could remedy this (there is a section in the CityManager holotape where you can recalculate stats, fix a bug with population count in HQ etc.)

One thing that strikes me as odd personally is that "cap" icon next to the Facilities Energy.
I had a few problems with a sorting mod patch that would consequently break radiant quests as it was messing with indexing or something.
Going on a really wild uneducated guess here, but perhaps that might be interfering with SS2? Might help a bit if you attach your load order?

Beyond my understanding of the tech side, but perhaps the more savvy members might spot something we amateurs don't see.

So I'm going to take the lack of response for the "Well Known Players" and the "Bosses" to mean you all don't know either.
Does your header not show the individual departments? I've never seen what you are showing in your screen shots.
Maybe posting your load order, and/or maybe a few more details you will get more assistance. Do you have a leader assigned to each of the departments?
Try going to the department desk and looking to see what jobs are currently in progress or waiting. Mansfield's office should have the desk for facilities.
Also, if you click on facilities does it show cleaning or construction?

@LeapinL "Does your header not show the individual departments? I've never seen what you are showing in your screen shots.". That is exactly what my screen shot shows. I'm playing Storywealth a complete overhaul, Do you want me to post the load order for all 500+ mods. I went through the compleat How to HQ so I assume I have leaders in all departments. Again as I showed in my very first screenshot it is telling me I don't have the facility engry, I have 14 people there and 7 are assigned to facility because of their combined strength they are way over 15.
Lets just start with the leader header, let just fix that first.

It would not hurt if you'd drop the hostile attitude toward those who are trying to help you - at least if you're expecting any help in the first place.

If nobody knows what mods you have nobody will be able to provide you with any input. You are of course free to diagnose the issue yourself.
Since nobody encountered/replicated that issue so far it's extremely likely a mod on your side and you can't reasonably expect SS2 team to test all
the mods out there for compatibility. That's where mutual support of the community comes into play.

Ok you've got Storywealth, what else?
As mentioned earlier for me the FIS patch was problematic and when I tested the game without it in the LO the issues were gone. If it touches things like HUD, all the more reason to test it out. Did you try that one?

Maybe make a hard save far away from HQ, try disabling the FIS patch and go back to HQ and see if it helped?

Btw. don't "assume", verify.
It's a matter of 2 minutes to check department head assignments.

Usually we refer folks using Storywealth to that collection's mod curators. You might ask them for help too. The devs and many of the folks who provide answers here don't use StoryWealth. They don't know how it's put together under the hood so to speak.
