I HATE to say this but CTD happening :(

Hmmm so adding 40k concrete in rocks and mountains maybe broke my game?

ah :( my garden is getting CTD now to:(

yeah has hundreads of grass and bush and trees etc
I use war never changes and that affects the polycount bar thingy and I used the drop and pick up a few times:(

ah ok lol I go the other way and use regrowth I'm sure that adds a little to my ploy count

:explode: I may have to try that in my next run

yeah so true but its always a surprise when they pop out from behind a tree :)

no comment lol :)
:grin never to old

Over the next few patches, I'll get the Performance Options configured on all of the Sim Settlements buildings. I know a lot of the add-on authors have already started configuring their stuff. Unfortunately, a lot of the new animated and effect heavy buildings from Industrial Revolution are going to put a strain on systems.

The best test to see if the budget or buildings are the problem for you, is to play on a new character for a while with the same mod load. If you still receive the crashes, you could just need to change your mod load order and it will have nothing to do with the build limit!

Being a PC player with a system that marginally exceeds minimum requirements I've had to do some tweaking. Maybe some of my steps can help?

I use ENBoost, optimized textures and the mod 'Insignificant Object Remover'.

Haven't had any problems caused by these, they make no noticeable changes to your visuals in game so there should be no harm in trying them.

Hmm, are those settlements we have problem with the ones with a small possible buildsizes? I've used "Uncapped Settlement Surplus" http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12430/? , but that weren't a problem before. And I still can fast travel to Convenant, and that settlement is far over the normal size (with 18 settlers, homes and workingstation for them in ther normal boarder)

I build up the airport right now, will watch if it cause problem with fast travel later.

At Finch Farm and the Slog there is nothing added there except a few turrets.
There are NO added settlers at all.
And yet I CTD even when there at those places.
And t all started with the upgrade :(

I changed the order of the industrial one as it was third last and is now as high as NMM will let me get it. Which is 17.
As for SS, it is where it was at position 8.
So will try that out and see if changing the load order helps :)

Yeah, it must have something to do with the upgrade the last days (either SS, Industrial Revolution or one of the addOns), haven't either before problems with fast travel. And at Red Rocket Truck Station I've only added one defence station, a water pump and four turrets. Not one item of the Industrial Revolution, not a new building of any addOn. It's "vanilla" mostly, means before 2.0 and the Industrial Revolution. And still the games crashes with fast travel, and so far I have only two villages where that happens...

The only place I added anything from the new industrial was the Somerville place which I admit is on the large size.
And yes I did crash there.

But that does not explain the CTD's at the other locations as you said.

Anyhow, kinggath has said to try load order so I shall :)

I have not tried those as of yet.
Do you have the Nexus links for them so we can have a look see?

Thanks :)

An easy way to find them is to open Nexus Mod Manager.
Find the mod in the mod section [not plugin] and then click the number in the column marked "mod version".
That will take you right to the mod on Nexus :)
Then copy and paste the URL here.

Hope that helps :)
