I am stuck...

This is the first time I play as a melee character and I haven't experience this before. I google about it and tried everything...restart game, use stimpack, console commands, etc. About everything I found on google was tried. Nothing seems to work. Here is what happened, I got into a fight and blitz to a kill, after the kill my character is just stuck in place. I can't move or move the camera. I can open the pipboy and switch weapons, but cant move. Doesn't seem to be stuck on some object, I'm standing in an open area. Anyone knows how to fix this?

I had this happen once, but it was a couple years ago.... sorry, but can't remember what was the final fix, but things that I know I did were.
coc Sanctuaryext to change zones
close Steam and restart it
verify files
unplug keyboard and replug
close out of all background apps that can be closed
edit to add: also remember trying to spawn a new enemy and vats attack them...

It's strange cause all keys on my keyboard work, only movement is affected. Also mouse camera movement is stuck, but I can attack and block. I closed steam, restarted it, rebooted the pc, verified files, open my pipboy map and fastravel to Sanctuary. Nothing, no matter what I tried or moved to my character is stuck. Also during the fight when I blitz attacked the raider and got stuck another raider came in my field of view and I was able to vats to him but I was still stuck. I don't really want to delete the saves and try again, but my guess is I will get stuck again eventually and end up all pissed off lol...would be awesome to find a fix so I can fix it without starting all over again. Thanks for the recommendations!!!

try starting a new game, just to see if you can move...

start the game from scratch... when you are at the opening Red Rocket screen that says "press any key to..." open the console and enter
coc sanctuaryext the game will load you in front of Cogsworth at level 1. with the default male body/face and all stats of 1

if it works then try to reload you save from there

New game I can move no problem and after loading the other save I still can't move...the camera moves now thou. So I guess that got fixed lol

sorry none of this is helping
just trying to throw out ideas... i know I was able to fix this once, and with over 8k hours in the game, it has only happened to me once and at lease half of those hours are melee play.

hum... might want to try remapping your movement keys then resetting them to default

Changed the movement keys and it still stuck. Move them back to default and still stuck lol....I guess I'll have to start back and hope I don't get stuck again.
