No it's not, because nobody else has mentioned it, and I don't think I'd ever said that until now.
It's just a theory, but I suspect the way that spams 'corner messages' every time you get a Crit is breaking that subsystem.
I remember having a similar issue but that was way before using "Critical outside VATS" and it mostly happened after jumping into a PA. It was also totaly disabling "HOLO time", forcing me to reload the game to re-enabling it. Installing "FallUI - HUD" seems to have resolved the problem.
 
I got through the Memory Chair sequence with FallUI - Inventory, FallUI - Map, DEFUI, and HUD++ without issue, so those can probably be ruled out.
I see. Thankyou! I did try and test by disabling them and trying the quest but nothing happened. Think I might start a new save tonight with the updated files on nexus and race through the ss2 quests and try again. :)
Might have just been from all the betas I downloaded.

Yeah, the reason I hadn't brought it up before was due to it being on my pseudo-list of "problems nobody else has even mentioned" that I seem to be cursed with when it comes to... well, everything really, but FO4 most relevantly.
trust me, I could be making an order of magnitude more Questions threads myself than I do now, but I tend to wait for someone ELSE to report issues due to the amount of mine that get 0 replies
 
Not sure if we are still using this thread, but I downloaded the release, used my save from before any beta versions, and now I have a fire in the main floor men's bathroom, next to the laundry, that does not show as an active fire and yet I have about 6 staff trying to put the fire out and can't. They keep hurting each other with the fire extinguishers. I'd hate to back up again as I've recruited about 20 people and have built pretty far, but is there anything I can do to stop it?

P.S. I seem to keep having active fires every 5 to 10 minutes also.

Update: I downloaded the official patch and the map appeared!
hey I'm having the same issue, with the settlements markers not showing up on the map. Are you talking about the ss2 2.2.0a build, that you downloaded to fix the issue? Or the FO4 official patch if its the latter i already have it.

I was referring to the ss2 2.2.0a build!
 
Still hoping scrap shows up from my dozen supply agreements… anyone have a workaround or even console to get HQ scrap to start showing up? (Not logistics scrap, I have tons of that) thanks!

Okay OK I installed it and it seems to still be giving me the same error. There's the other button in the room that I press at a supposed to refresh the Settlement markers but it tells me to select location when I click it. I've also done recycle actor console command on the board and it has no effect as well.
 
At the camp the lower gunners were hostle but the Hellhound above was green and very chill when I shot him. Arriving at BADFL the guys outside were green till I shot them and they didnt react to their friends being shot at all. Entering the building I found it to be the same. So I went ahead and shot the Lt and expected it to be over but Lena stood up then kneeled back down and the quest still says I have to eliminate the Hellhounds. Oh and her Bro is following me all around.
 
Yeah, a lot of weird stuff going on with hellhounds. I remember playing through catastrophe prevention drive the first time, they were hostile
(even killed Lena a bunch of times) then in later games they just stand around. Gotta make sure Simon's dialogues advance as well so quests don't get stuck (at least to "hey my sister is in there so pls don't shoot" before entering the last room). Also the game crashes a lot when exiting BADTFL, probably can't handle Shhandy's onslaught of questions (resolved by making a save before leaving and pausing before loading outside area).
Also after all that is resolved,
the new CPD looks magnificent but I feel like some precombines are broken cause the game freezes in there. At least used to.
