Hello everyone I have just started Sim Settlements 2. With the story with Jake , Old Paul etc. So obviously I want to play all 3 chapters. How do I progress from sim settlements 2. To SS2 Chapter 2 and three. Do I just uninstall SS2, then install SS2 Chapter 2. Or can I add the other 2 chapter mods into my saved game with the SS2 already and it will jsut start after I finish the first story segment of SS2. thanks!

You need them all to be active at the same time to actually play the mod. The "core" file (just called "SS2.esm") contains all the programming for the plots and stuff.
The story just proceeds straight through - You likely won't even spot the 'join' between Chapters 1 and 2 unless you know what to look for; the break between 2 and 3 is a little more obvious.
Extra note - NEVER remove a mod from a savegame you wish to continue. The game itself really hates that, it breaks all kind of things.

That's correct. Assuming the other files are installed and activated correctly, the questline will just automatically proceed onwards.

Bethesda specifically says FO4 does not support the removal of mods during a playthrough. If you want to remove mods, start a new game.

All "Chapter" files add content that can come into play at various points. For instance, Chapter 2 adds two new factions and a series of side quests that can occur during the events of Chapter 1 if you have both installed, so I would highly recommend you have all installed from the beginning.

Sure, it's "not supported", but the fact is the game "lets" you do it, and we all know how likely people are to read what the dialog box that comes up when you do that actually says.
