If i need to fast travel in a place i want to land in place under cover not in a wood hindered bt trees and exposed to enemy fire.
I dont know how the city plan author managed to put it there but i cannot place another and i cannot remove, not even find because it's probably under the grass, the mat

Did you look for the mat under the ground with tcl? If it's outside the build area and you use PE, by default F5 disables auto exiting workshop mode.

Also, which city plan is this? The author is likely around and could benefit from feedback (or clarify things, as applicable!), this is not a situation I'd be happy to find myself in...

It's the only city plan available for The Boathouse; i dont use city plans so i havent downloaded any other. Will try looking with tcl, it has to be somewhere, just wondering why the mat isnt near the WS or the desk, only reason i can think is that from there you have a nice panoramic view of the settlement.
Worth noting that a lot of things have been built outside the settlement limit, let's say more than half the settlement is outside.
Tuffington is rather small as a settlement, building manually it's hard to build too much even using 1x1 plots; not a problem for me because i use small settlements for hardware limits, a couple around 18 20 pop, all others at 10 12

Thanks for this. I'm going to have to look for it as well. It'll be nice not to fast travel into the middle of the crossfire of a settlement attack.

It's very simple, at least at Taffington: you go in workshop mode and you will see, well outside city limits where you landed, a big red marker
You press F5 on PC, dunno what on console, while still in WS mode, if not you will quicksave, walk there, grab the marker like you do to move a pump or a couch, and walk back to where you want to place it.
