How to HQ cant assigne jake and aiden

hello guys! first of all im pretty hooked in this mod but ive hit a roadblock in how to hq, ive built all facilities in the tutorial but i cant assign aiden and jake on their departments. the selection on assigning is empty. am i doing something wrong?
also i used TGM to build all of those facilities cause my facilities energy is stuck at 4.

My guess would be your save file has some script problems. Can you send me your .fos file? You can find it in Documents\My Games\Fallout 4\Saves.

Toss it up on a google drive, or something similar, share it, and DM me a link.

I can't find the security desk. I've got Logistics, Engineering, and Facilities but no Security.

I spent an hour looking. I used the cheat option in the holotape to skip

The same issue, but Aiden looks like unassignable. In workshop mode, I can see NPC frames for all except Aiden

I had to use the build menu. Unassign him from facilities THEN assign him to security. I had this problem and that seemed to work for me

I am having the same issue.I have tried to unassign them and reassign,but all I get is [....[ is dept head.

First thing to check: How many people do you have at HQ? You should have 10. If not, use the City Manager Holotape:
Go to Tools>Advanced Tools and select "How to HQ population fix" to resolve.

You can try using the Department Desk, instead of Command Mode to assign your staff.
Department Desks Locations:
Engineering - Comm Array Room
Security - Meeting Room

I have tried running the fix,with no luck.It is showing I only have 9 employees because Mansfield is not showing on the list,even though he is there,showing as labor.I do not have an earlier save,without going almost back to the beginning.Nevermind.the game locked up to the point I had to do a forced shut daow,and after I restarted,I was able to assign Jake and Aiden with no problem.
