How do you download and use other peoples Settlement Plans?

I see when goto change settlement plan its only one custom plan in there by default i think ...

Download the plans from the Nexus. Install like any other mod. Make sure the .esp is activated. The plan should now be available at the appropriate settlements.

FYI, older plans, including those with RotC, do not have power transfer capability and won’t transmit power to HQ.

Install the mod in your organizer. Make sure you enable it so its in the game.
Put down the planner's desk.
Click on the blueprint and next till you find the settlement you want to install.
Tell it to tear down everything.
SS2 will do the rest.

Should I wait til the end of Chapter 1 before I redo the Settlement so that way I have everything unlocked? Because right now I am on this mission...(idk how many more I have left...enjoying this too much to even care lol)

I can't remember. Is that still part of Jake's quest building plots in Sanctuary?
In other word don't try to build a settlement in Sanctuary until Jake has finished showing you the ASAM's. I believe it's seven plot types. The last for you can have him show you or do it yourself, I think.

What other plans do you have installed that's not showing?
Can you see more settlement choices at other locations?

Sorry but I don't understand what you are asking, In the post you wrote something like, this is all I see. Showing the basic settlement. Since you have nothing else installed. Thats all you will see.

Hitting the "next" option should bring up the next city plan. Then choose this plan when you find the one you want.

If after hitting next, it doesn't change, then you don't have any other plans installed.

yea i figured that. Im just gonna wait til i complete the game before i get into all that...Im not really into Settlements tbh i only got this for the Story and Quests really...I saw the Chatper 2 trailer and was blown away i was like I GOTTA PLAY THIS!!!

You are going to do chapter 2. Then you need to build settlements to be able to supply HQ for the story. After doing Jake's quests to learn about the ASAM"s you need to start building settlements.
