So there is a mod that detects synths but u gota turn it on, what i am thinking about is something that auto detects then either bribes them to be good settlers or turns them hostile so settlers can deal with them

Cool idea! I think synth settlers are extremely rare and just become normal settlers when The Institute is destroyed. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think there are still some synth settlers, you just can't tell unless they die, which if you use Recruitable settlers, don't send P8-62 to any of your settlements or HQ, as she will attack any settler that is a synth. (This can happen even after you destroy the institute.)

Sorry for not specifying, I meant they're still synths but act (Apart from the synth component) like normal settlers. Thanks for all the info.
