New hotfix is up - this restores the taxes to their appropriate levels and makes happiness bonuses from plots work correctly once again.

Not there anymore? 38 files showing, all old files.

edit: nevermind, it's there now!

You can get it through Bethesda.net, but there's a problem on nexusmods.com for some reason. I've reached out to everyone I can to try and get it resolved ASAP.

Too bad bethesada.net doesn't allow direct downloads (unless I missed something).

I will wait for nexus to be fixed. Avoiding using the Bethesda mods in-game interface to subscribe and install mods. So much cleaner and controlled with NMM.

I was wondering why all the mut fruit plantations with AIO addon that gives +10 happy per plot wasn't doing anything for me.

I bet downloading directly from bethesda would count as "mod piracy".

Does this fix even require the *.ba2 files? Maybe just release the esp as a patch?

Yes, the scripts are in the Ba2 file.

Oh, right. Forgot about that.

I broke down and got the file from Bethesda in the meantime, but I still haven't seen happiness start behaving right again. I'll keep poking at it, but I've had days pass and cells reload and the report for Starlight still shows no bonus. It's hard to tell if the version is right on what I got from Bethesda, since all I could find was something that said "Version 36" rather than 2.14b. I'm not very familiar w/their interface >_>

It's kinda of a hassle now that I've mostly switched over to using SS plots in my new playthrough, (restart-itis), but I'm working around it atm by plopping down vanilla medical and bar stores to increase happiness.

I'll just scrap them whenever we can get the new patch from nexus.

Did try the manual download but archive couldn't be extracted as tagged corrupt.

Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate on the timing that Nexus would have problems when I need to get you all a fix. They have acknowledged to me that the problem is on their end and are working to fix it. If they don't have it resolved in a few days, I will look into an alternate location I can start mirroring the mod. Hard to find a place to allow unlimited file transferring at a decent speed for free though...

Hmm... Although It wouldn't exactly be ideal since it is only file hosting, have you thought about using Mediafire? At least until Nexus is able to fix the issue.

I wouldn't worry about it for a non-critical fix.

IR plots not working would be one thing, because there is no vanilla equivalent. But for happiness, its not like we can't make do with regular bar/med stores.

Obviously, we'd all like the fix, but I personally can wait till whenever Nexus gets corrected.

ummm, don't know if its my connection thru work, but tried installing it from bethesda.net....and it wouldn't install from there either....got almost the same message as from NMM...unable to complete....3 times d'oh

this was on my laptop, did it at home earlier to my desktop and had no problem

I was able to download the 2.1.4b optional from Nexus last night ok.

Question though - what changed re: the happiness fix specifically? e.g. was it fixed because we got no happiness, too much, or too little?

Because I've been playing most of last night and part of today with 2.1.4b and have noticed no changes to how my settlements are happy or not. e.g. no large increase or decrease.
