horizon sim settlements patch

I have always played with Horizon mod and have had no issues, except that there is an imbalance of resources, where Industrial is overpowered compared to the more survival balanced nature of Horizon. Horizon has its own SS patch to compensate for this OP and make it more balanced...

As far as these plots working, in running SS and Horizon, I leave off the AutoAssign for SS as Horizon has autoassign as well - though that can't be shutoff. And with the RP, assigning certain NPC's to plots/job makes more sense.. ie... NPC looking scruffy running the scrap heap versus the Mall or Fallon's shop...

Yes, does mean you have to be more involved in your settlement.

As far as these new plots counting as a Horizon job for them to count towards the Horizon Resource Management, I do not know yet. I am eager to try it out - but in process of doing a play through with a lot of new mods / etc. to see if there is an issue.

Nice to hear no major issues w Horizon. May I inquire which version of SS is recommended .. RoC ?
 
SS has gotten quite a few updates recently, but horizon hasn't. I have to wonder if the horizon ss patch is "undoing" the SS updates? (I really have no idea.)

Zawinul has stated not to use his patch as it isn't updated.

Until then self-discipline is key.... as well as staying away from console commands to give you whatever you want.

I don't use the SS patch..... unless there is enforced balancing, something will always be taken advantage of.
