Help

If you decide to uninstall and version 2.0.1 is your first version, you actually don't have to do anything to uninstall - I just removed all vanilla objects from it, so you can simply delete the mod if you decide you don't like it.

I want to use it for awhile I started a new game I am not sure how to get this mod started.

Easiest place is the concord museum.

Deleting Sim Settlements is a bad, bad idea. Doing so will cause the Commonwealth to become infested with irradiated, super mutant-sized ghoulish rad roaches and blood bugs infected with the Vault 81 mole rat disease, just say'n.

Of course, I kid.

The videos SherylinRM linked to are an excellent source of great info. As Kinggath mentioned, the museum in Concord is the most convenient place to start. There you will find both the needed holotape & a load of sensors to get you started.

In any event, welcome to the forum, glad you're here!! Have fun

I am in the museum I do not know where the holotape is

It's in the room closest to Preston and the gang. There should be a bunch of Robco boxes near it. If it didn't show up, go into your Mods menu and click on Load Order. Then make sure SimSettlements.esm has a checkmark.

Also make sure you get ALL of the boxes of asam's and the loose ones as well. :) Lots there.

How or actually when do buildings level up?

How or actually when do buildings level up?

For upgrades to happen it takes 5 in game days to get to level 2, and then 10 in game days to reach level 3.
Also they need certain requirements such as food, water and/or defense at a certain level as well.

Hope that helps :)

Everything is in the Museum On the the top floor. Make sure to play the holo disc in your pip boy to activate the mod & gamin access to the special build menu options. Al other answers are found in Kinggaths youtube video collection.

Actually I have more problems here my metal structures has disappeared from my menu. I have downloaded a few add on ons from sim settlements.

Pick up Settlement Menu Manager if you haven't yet. It comes with a holotape that can repair your build menu.

Ok, now remove Settlement Menu Manager, load and save your game, then install SMM again. I have a solution for the next patch, but that will be a few days yet, so reinstalling SMM like that will work for now.
