Global Stash mod - anyone using deeper into SS/Conqueror?

Searched the forums here and no hits on 'Global Stash' - mod that looked really nice here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41511

Nutshell version is it is a global shared stash that can be linked into settlement benches, standalone benches anywhere in world, and pretty easy 1-click swoosh of all your stuff from any settlement or al settlements into your global stash. Basically universal 1 place storage for everything you+settlements own.

But I'm not sure how this will interact, good or bad, with Idek's logistic storage and/or how SS/Conq settlements will play with it, since if everything is stored in this global stash, those settlements effectively have zero local supply of anything.

Anyone used this mod and report experience, especially later into playthrough when you have an empire of settlements, vassals, etc going?
 
Assuming I can get my conqueror game going, guess I will be the Guinea pig and see how using a 3rd party quantum storage for all settlements affects the resource sharing, supply lines, etc
 
I install Horizon and only enable the Architect plugin solely for the cargo bot system it has.
It has a global stash but it can't be transferred between workbenches, or allow you to take anything from it outside a settlement.
You can off-load anything you have to it when you are out and about though.

I see no need to transfer entire workbench contents around though, and do wonder if it will cause havoc with WSFW.
Also, you can add the IDEK beacon to workbenches that turns them into a global stash.
 
Will give a full report later on this mod + SS experience, but early look so far is mixed.

The ability to have 1 click of local or all workbenches to one anywhere accessible global stash, even while adventuring can hotkey open stash. So really, really handy for QoL.

However on the bad side, I’ve had to disable number of features it has because it causes mega lag opening workshop mode (e.g. if you link workshop benches to stash, it severely delays opening workshop mode). To be fair though, once disabled this feature then its fine

The mixed result I need to play test mode is a random quirk that seems to be happening more I play through. Sometimes when transferring all stash to local bench so you can craft at that settlement, it seems to bug out and disable your local workbench inventory

E.g. tons of materials are now in the local workshop, but settlement workbenches say no materials to craft with. I end up having to put all the items into stash again, which shouldn’t let me craft because I’ve disabled linking stash to workbenches due to above lag issue, but when this other bug comes up, its only way to get around it

Basically the mod contradicts itself - if I set option to be able to craft using stash as source, then it works but is super lag on opening workbench. But if I disable this and therefore use vanilla rule of mats must be in local workshop or linked supply line workshop in order for local workbench to use those mats, that vanilla rule seems to sometimes get blocked by this mod and I end up having to craft from stash source despite that option being disabled.

Since removing mods, esp big mods mid play through is a no no, will keep for now and see how long I can go
 
I found deeper down on the author's mod desc that the link to stash thing is a known consequence. Once the link is established it is permanent, even if you disable the option after turning it on.

"The stash connection is permanent, replacing workBENCH local storage."

I'm hoping scrapping all my workbenches and crafting new ones will restore the regular vanilla connection. Otherwise it's NewGame start once again for the restarteritis condition of F04 modding
