Getting Stuck with RotC

Greetings!

I've posted this on the Nexus page but as this is the official forum, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask here as well.

So I've installed the 3-in-1 pack, everything pops in fine, messages and HUD seems to be working. Yay, and great. Unfortuantely, I'm trying to test out the autonomous features of the mod, and am getting stuck at the starting line. I have food, water, beds, an NPC settler, and defense all set up (so as to meet the quest req for the first Minutemen mission). I built a City Planner's desk, donated additional food, water, and armor, and assigned Codsworth as the leader. As far as I can tell, I've set the in game settings to as minimal involvement as I can. And yet, nothing has happened. I've tried turning off and on the cinematic mode, and I've placed a recruitment beacon.

Please tell me what info I need to provide so I can get help with this issue.

Update 1: Placing residential plots seems to be working.

After you gave Codsworth the job, did you choose a city plan?

First chose a City Plan then the game ask you for a Leader assign 1 and the City start to build.If you have Cinematic off you will not see when the City is finish but you have to stay until the end in the Settlement.

I thought you assigned the leader and then chose the plan.

Because you can have a leader even if you're not using a city plan, can't you?

You can choose a CP first.. then a leader
or
Choose a leader first then a CP..
or
Choose a leader then cancel the CP build and just have a leader.

I´m guessing you are assigning Codsworth to the desk in workshop mode. Instead, go to the desk, select the blueprint, it Will open a menu with options. Then select "assign leader" and presto!

Ya know that's a good question to ask. Cause I think some might be doing just that.. which IS the normal way to *assign* something.
