The game keeps crashing immediately after I defeat the last member of the "defeat the first wave" objective. Can you guys please help me out?

Much Appreciated

if you are using Buffout4, which fixes a bunch of vanilla engine bugs that can cause random crashes like this, you might be able to narrow down the root cause by using the Buffout Crash Log auto-scanner to identify suspect cases.

without more information to narrow down possible causes, there are just too many things that can cause Todd's holy game from "just work"-ing at you.

Hey thanks for the tip SarahAda. I installed Buffout and managed to find the crash log but the Crash-Log auto-scanner you recommended couldn't seem to find any issues. I'm kind of a novice with this stuff so I can't really figure out what the issue is. I've attached the notepad crash-log to this reply if you or anyone else don't mind taking a look.

well, i don't know much about your setup, but the top of the call stack is BSLightingShaderPropertyFloatController, which is apparently a creation engine function to manage UV Texture lights? it appears to be trying to work out the lighting on whatever model is on Form ID FF01239A or FF012398. you might load a game and prid that form id and see what you can see about that actor (?) and why it's choking trying to manage flare lights on WeaponMagazineChild3.

maybe update graphics drivers and remove anything that messes with the lighting engine? any glowing textures on weapon mods that might be suspect?

Hey so I tried those two form ID's and can't seem to find anything. I tried disabling FF012398 but it still crashes. For glowing weapons I can't seem to see any. As for my driver, it's AMD and I've just checked and it's up to date. I tried the Auto Crash program you recommended again and found this:

# Checking for Body Physics Crash...........CULPRIT FOUND! #
Priority : [4] | cbp.dll : 1 | skeleton.nif : 3

I can figure out the CBP.dll issue as it's something with body physics which I can just disable all of it until the quest is over. But with the Skeleton.nif. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I went through the Buffout Dictionary as well to look for solutions but nothing seems to work despite installing all of the patch recommendations on the AutoScan.

Thanks again for trying to help out. Appreciate it

Skeleton.nif
this is the model of the actor skeleton used for animation rigging. CBP (probably this one?) is a framework for automatically animating this skeleton with physics. these are likely the same problem.

i personally use Discrete Female Skeleton, Skeletal Adjustments for CBBE, 3BBB Physics, and OCBP Physics, and i can report i do not have this problem, but this area is known to be buggy and i had to mess about in xEdit quite a lot creating my own race record patch to get this working as intended (probably more then it was worth considering i have removed most of the 3BBB bodyslides because they are more lewd than realistic) so you might just want to remove CBP and see if that fixes your issues.

Hey thanks for the tip but I can confirm that it's not CBP as I've never had the mod installed. I've tried following your advice and removed all body-physics mod and converting everything back to to all CBBE (including batch-building all bodyslide files) but it still doesn't seem to work. I've also installed Wrye Bash to no avail. I've been trying to fiddle around my mod list on Vortex but I still really can't find any issues.

I've attached my mod list in case you can find something I didn't.

Thanks again!
