Flotsam Plots Don't Appear

Hello,

Issue: After installing the new Flotsam Add-On, I don't see any of the plots as options in any of the plot categories (Agriculture, Industrial, etc). I have virtually all the other Sim Settlement Add-Ons, and they seem to work fine, including Uituit's own Junk Town.

Troubleshooting: Here's things I've already tried:
* Uninstall, reinstall through a manual download (as opposed to NMM)
* Unintsall, reinstall Sim Settlements (core) as a manual download
* Disable all other Sim Settlement Add-Ons
* Reinstall "Mega Pack of the Year" Add-On
* Install "Industrial Revolution" (I don't normally play with the advanced plots)
* Install "Rise of the Commonwealth" (another one I don't use)

DISCLAIMER #1:
I use a lot of mods, including a lot of player-made Settlements (see the list below) so this whole problem is probably my fault :) I tend to avoid using Sim Settlement plots in most of these custom settlements, but I've done so with 2 or 3 of them.

DISCLAIMER #2:
* Right around the 3.16 update, I lost the use of my Sim Settlements HUD (My companion status HUD still works). I tried to reload things to no avail, and wrote it off as a potential bug of the new version (but even with the latest update, it's still not working)
* My "Town Gavel" item also doesn't work since that update (it always thinks I'm outside of my city limits, regardless of settlement).
* (Right around that update I had a lot of other issues, like Plots not working until I reset them... but everything else is now working and seems to have stabilized)

Do the plans from Floatsam show up in the desk drawer of the City Planner’s Desk?

If not, I’d suggest confirming the mod is checked in on the in-game Load Order screen. I’ll tag @uituit as well in case he has any insight.

I checked the City Planner's Desk, but I'm not seeing them there. I tried a "Reset All", but that didn't change it.
I also confirmed in my Mods list that it was enabled.

Also, just to verify I'm not simply blind as a bat, what is the name of one of the plots that should appear in, say "Agricultural"?

My farm plots are Fish Farm and fishing boat. The tag is [FJ]
all my plots are player select only but I don't think that wud stop them appering:(

I'm stumped:(
I have the Nuka world settlement pack as well so it cant be that
On my test pc which is crappy ive been able to build my plots

Can you post your load order? maybe someone can see if tehres a problem with that .

I just don't know :(

the long method is to turn half your mods(not SS ) of and see wat happens ,if you turn half of and flotsam stars working u know u have a mod conflict. This will take a while to do .
But make sure you have a hard save to get back to.

Did you ever get ur HUD to work again?

And no, I never got my HUD working again - that seems to be related to the issue I'm having where I can't use the Town Gavel. I may have some kind of workshop confusion going on, probably because I have so many settlements.
 
how many settlements do u have? no idea if that wud do anything.
hmm are u using version 1.1 of flotsam? version one had a spelling mistake in its name but that should prevent it from showing up.
 
I'm using the latest version.
I've unlocked about 65 settlements (I may have a settlement addiction problem! :) )

I'm only using Sim Settlements on about a dozen so far, though.

Kinggath had 1000 plots going so I don't think its that
try the half and half thing , to be honest I just don't know why its not working for you:(
 
He's saying 65 settlements, not 65 plots - so that could definitely be part of it. Your workshop scripts are probably working like dogs.

If you can still assign settlers, that can at least confirm your workshop scripts aren't locked up - which would definitely require intervention in your save file. I'd suggest loading your save in Fallrim Tools to see what the ActiveScripts look like. If you have more than 10, it's likely you'll need to let them catch up for a bit - possibly even terminate some.
 
Looks like I have 6 active scripts.

And yeah, I can assign settlers, recruit new ones, and all the other SS plots I have are working normally. Something is definitely confused, though, since I lost the Settlement HUD and the "Gather Around" feature of the town gavel/city planner tells me I'm out of my city's boundaries (regardless of settlement or location I try)
 
Update...
So I ended up disabling all my Mods except for HUD Framework, SS and FJ, but again no change.
Then I decided to go back to a MUUUCH earlier save in this play-thru (about 9 hours into the game), and voila, I got my HUD back and all the FJ plots appeared!
Then I re-enabled all my mods and loaded that same early save, and boom, I lost the FJ plots again. So I'm going to try to narrow down now which Mod broke it... but it looks like it's already messed up my save data.

but finding what broke your HUD wud be great as well as getting FJ working :)

the gather around says that in some custom settlements that havnt been configured to use sim settlements,
maybe that could be the cause of your problems, one of your settlement mods may be broken in some way.
I know neehers work fine ( I used his tuts from my waterworld) . I have nuka world one as well but havnt built there but it conflects with a clear water mod for some reason.

So after lots of save/reloads, I found when it broke, but it didn't seem necessarily associated with any one particular mod.

It was on April 7, and I think it was right after some big updates. I remember after I'd updated, a lot of my plots had reset themselves, but I just ran around and re-selected plots and afterward, everything seemed good... so I just wrote it off as a quirk of the update. What I should have noticed was that my HUD screen also stopped working *and* none of my plots were leveling past Level 1 after that.

So I'll just go back and continue from April 7 and keep a close eye on the HUD, since it seems to be a good marker for whether or not the scripts are loading... unless either of you knows a way I can re-"jump-start" the scripts on my current save.
