Floating and Overlapping Clutter. Can it be fixed?

Hi there. I've been using SS1 for a long time, and I was excited to see SS2 come about. Then I was a bit disappointed.

First, there's the issue of interior plots not using the cool square fuse box anymore. It was a nice touch. I'm not a fan of the ASAM sensor design, and the fuse boxes looked quite immersive.

In all seriousness, what's happening now is really diminishing my enjoyment of the game. Until now, my joy was to create structures and populate them with interior plots. Exterior plots are too random and don't cluster themselves in an organic way, always on top of square structures... but interior plots were a magic stroke. Great stuff.

Now, however, my interior plots keep piling up clutter, beds and furniture, which ends up overlapping. I thought maybe the plots were upgrading and keeping the old clutter, but in some cases, the plots were still level 1. Granted, I moved a couple (fitting the interior plots in my crammed interiors sometimes required precision engineering) and that may have triggered the problem, after all some have two or three ASAM sensors on the wall.

Some plots even remain when scrapped, without the game allowing me to scrap the floating clutter or furniture.

Other times, the game spawns the clutter but nothing else.

Is there a way to fix that whackyness? I feel like I have no choice but go back to SS1 or just focus on my job again.
Thanks!

Some screenshots for reference: Notice how the table overlaps with the movie stands, or the chairs are way too close to the diner stall:

Here there's what I think are two levels of the Vault Dweller interior plots overlapping. Or maybe even three...

PS: Yes, I have the recommended load order, and I'm not running any SS1 addons.

Thanks, I like to see I'm not alone. Only refreshing the plots does nothing... sometimes the clutter and furniture just stays there forever.

EDIT: I saw there was an update, tried it, and it doesn't do anything for me. The same problems are still there; refreshing plots leaves all the furniture and clutter where they were, and some elements can't even be selected and scrapped by pressing Insert... it's quite frustrating.

I'm sure the team is working on fixing this, but at this point I have to let the game rest for some time. Building settlements takes time and effort, and even if we all do this for fun, it's less fun when your settlements get bugged out beyond fixing.

I think this is caused by having a plot upgrade in it's place. You need to let it wait for it to upgrade and blow up the old plot or force it yourself.
