I finally finished Chapter 1 of Sim Settlements. Although there was a ton of bugs that needs to be fixed, I really enjoyed this mod all throughout and am looking forward to Chapter 2 and many more. However, I want to highlight some bugs and problems.

1. The Vit-o-matic is missing textures and key features. In the Vit-o-matic menu, there seems to be mixing textures; as the background screen seems to be pink and it looked like in the trailer that it was supposed to looks Black like our pip-boy from the trailer. Also, I believe that there should be a category aside from the numbers from the Vit-o-matic as I have to keep switching from my pip-boy to Vit-o-matic to see which numbers belong to which stats.

2. City Plans Leaders have trouble assigning settlers to their plots. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but the City Plans seems to not assign settlers toward plots.

3. Tutorial Quests seem to be a little un-balanced. This is me being nitpicky but I believe that the tutorial quests, especially the final mission of Chapter is bit too hard as most of these sensor placements seem to be streched throughout the map. This makes under leveled players at a disadvantage as they need to scour the higher leveled parts of the wastes in order to complete this mission.

4. I believe with the implementation of Caravan Plots, assigning individuals to caravan route from the Vanilla game should be disabled as it seems that Caravan plots seems a little useless once Vertibird Travel is used.

Finally, could you guys please fix Old Man Paul and his constant pestering of bringing food for Cola. This sometimes breaks conversations where he is involved with the main missions.

congrats. i couldnt get passed the second quest after getting back from concord it just wouldnt do it. the guy would just stand around and thats it.. reported it.. but .. its appears to be a bit buggy

First time I tried to just meet the stranger back at Sanctuary and he went missing. Tried again and I stayed with him from Concord to Sanctuary and for me that works, so will continue with this. All of the questions people have really help me not have to ask them so thank you all.

1). That's been fixed. I was wondering about that myself

2). While I use the city planner's desk (a lot easier to have the settlement built for me than to try to do it myself. I just add what I think is needed later), I don't assign leaders. I just check in on the settlements in the Pip Boy from time to time. So far, they're doing well on their own.

3) Agreed. Keeping the tutorial missions to around the area where Satellite Station Olivia is or even Lexington would be better. The western parts of the map can be tough for low level players. It can be done, you just need plenty of aid (cooked food/purified water or stimpaks).

4). This probably can't be done. Probably just don't choose the first level of Local Leader. It's not really needed anyway in an SS2 playthrough as the second level gives you the ability to open stores in the settlement. SS bypasses all that with commericial plots.

Once you get to a certain part of the main SS2 story, Old Paul moves to a different settlement anyway. Only reason to go back to that settlement would be to fix any issues the settlement may be having with food, water or power. Settlers eventually take care of defense themselves.
