I love the stairs and wooden hand rails in G2M.
It's definitely one of the best workshop mods out there.
That's for sure. I use the random stone foundation parts as bases for my windmills. I also use smaller ones for holding telephone poles that are mounted near or in water. We don't have concrete ones in the build sets, AFAIK. I've seen pics of lighthouses that have power cables coming up from the seabed. they are basically U shaped hollow channels. They lay the cable inside and cover the whole affair with prestressed slabs. The one thing that sort of bugs me about the wooden handrails is that there are no angled ones at all. The pipe railings have them. Ethreon's Stairs, ladders and Ramps mod has some different wood railings that you might check out. The one fault is that the snapping on those is that it's not nearly as good.

Been working on the island further. I added a ton of rock ledges mostly on the east side of the island. smENH20210328204838_1.jpg
Holly added many pines along the paths and up the hills. smENH20210328204635_1.jpg
These northeast ledges were intended to represent some of same type of rocks found further north. There will be no tall trees here, probably just low ground plants that are embedded into the rock joints. They were created using the copy function from WSFW and also using Place Anywhere.

Then I found something that became the showpiece of the park. SMENH20210328200827_1.jpg
This is a massive rock formation that lies mostly underwater. I copied, turned and lifted it up. Then I added a group of other rocks to build up the ends. Down at ground level it looks massive.

And it looks like an old keyhole from the side. smENH20210328213327_1.jpg
Henceforth it shall be known as Keyhole Rock at Spectacle island State Park. This is what the formation looks like just after the rain shelter.

That looks awesome!
If a player likes internal plots, which I do then it is a very fun overhaul that doesn't need a lot of buildings outside the ones that are already there.

:blush
Kind of nice for a lazy "quick-start" :rollseye

Plus, the buildings are broken enough that they are nice change to fix up throughout a playthrough. The author did the precombines and the fps performance is spectacular, the nav-mesh he did seems to be working "very" well also.

Sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate the view.

Where the Hell is Heather? :scratchhead

She has shit I want! :spruceup

Is She is playing hard to find? :rollseye

:unknw I can't find her?

:blush
Where is Heather1.jpg

:wink You got to be kidding!

:neahahahaha, nope "it's just Fo4" :angel

Eldarth's fish farm could quite possibly be my favorite SS1 agri plot of all time. This one is off the south end of the state park. ENH20210612085132_1.jpgENH20210612090028_1.jpg
Even with the small-ish pier, it looks like it belongs. I built the pier from G2M, amd the light are from Awarhero's Japanese Decor pack that used to be on Nexus. The great thing about the lights is that they don't require a power connection and are self contained. I'd love to have something like a small lawn path type light that works the same way.

Back at it again, this time on the northeast end of the island.
The red house is my player home. The gray one on the right has most of the workbenches the settlers use, I added a walking deck in between so people have some way of getting to the east side of the island, It doesn't connect with the other walkway. I curved it to the left side and it ends roughly where the viewpoint is.

It was looking kinda bare down on the rock ledges and along the ridge. Put some pines in, and then added more ground plants from Creative Gardens. I plan on putting more ground cover around the area, and not so much that it covers all the rocks. I need to add groundcove and plants to the gully where the decking curves around. Perhaps a tree or two.

And at the top of the hill, I took out the fire tower. I built this shack based radio station for the beacon.

This might be a weird thing to say here but if anyone of you like to take screenshots of non visual-modded F4 (as in it looks like the original game, maybe with a fresh coat of paint but not more than that) contact me, I might have a good slav... I mean unpaid job experience opportunity.

But yes odds are I will kidnap and enslave you. It's just a thing I do.

Leaves me out. I think I have close to 70 mods that alter scenery in some way. :grin

Amazing! Would love to have such a view from my future Thailand house. I always loved a combination of rocks and water.
