I will spam the thread one more time, then give it a rest.

I had not realized how absolutely friggin' badass-stealth-military this character looks. Think I need to switch to a skull bandana.

Some black gloves might work too.

Looks kinda brutal. Yeah.

I have been making more mashups,m and IceStorm has taught me how to get them into the game with the CK. I cannot release any of them as too many permissions would be involved. ENH20190623204146_1.jpg ENH20190623204331_1.jpg

Since June has come and gone.... time to get hot in the summertime. The place.... Nordhagen Beach. Much thanks to the mod community for sharing their works, without which I would not be able to build squat. This is sort of an ongoing project... a little seaside settlement (try saying that 3 times fast!) with assets from all over the Nexus. ENH20190701094847_1.jpg
Main street ....the view will change as details and other structures go in.

I just read this whole damn thread. Lol. It's entertaining. Also, I think I learned a lot about you guys and gals.

Here's what I gathered about your youth. Tell me how far off I am.

Cosmic: Used to be the kid that would show up at school every Monday with a new death-metal cassette for people to listen to. (Depending on age there might have been some Grunge for a period)
Uit: Would draw pictures in class of corpses and people being murdered violently. (To be fair: It is part of the Aussie curriculum.)
Parrothead: Would bring vintage pin-ups or porn to school. (Didn't you always wonder why there were dirty mags in the woods behind every school you went to?)
Whisper: Would arrange all stationary in perfect order on the desk, have at least 2 of everything, and rarely returned a pen that was borrowed.
Ray-Bo: Asked out every girl in his school at least once. (Would have to ask him how successful he was.)

Lol, I doubt any of that's true but I think it's funny just seeing your posts. If I can finally get to playing rather than constantly modding my game I'll be sure to post some screens so you can get some insight into the deviant I was.

@Grim Experiments In a twist, Dom would actually listen to the classics. I envision him going on a murder rampage while blasting Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld". Just because. :crazy

Lol I had to look that one up. I could imagine some real operatic thrusts and moves during the action. Although there's a big dip where it sounds like Dom might be reflecting on his choices. Or maybe he just takes a break to loot some corpses?

My char is more inclined to stick to the "pop classics" like Ride of Valkyries or O Fortuna, only hummed awkwardly and out of tune. Gotta admit though, those tunes have some awesome intros.

It would be a laugh if you taped a fight and put that as a soundtrack though.

@Grim Experiments, My high school is smack dab in the middle of the city's CBD. The closest thing we had to 'woods' was a stretch of park along a canal. Never mind skin mags... some kids were all about bringing in pot or regular cigs. I remember one girl who got busted for shoving an ounce of pot down her pants. And in those days, no stretch.:mosking :pleasantry

Alright, here you go.

Freak in the... Ahhhh! OH MY GOD! FREAK!

Uituit might recognize that asset, it is from his raiders set after all. Thanks, man, I'm loving the decor. I'm wearing it... but I'm lovin' it.

My kinda house! Lol.

Would I be right in assuming you're over playing the quests of fallout? I imagine the ladies don't want their gowns dirtied by some handsy raider.

Not so much on the overplaying... more like her backstory. Canon says the female protagonist is not in her early 20's, more than likely her late 20's owing to time in school, buying a house and having a rugrat. Because she has the law degree.... from pricey Suffolk law school at that.... that can mean she has $$$ even though she is mortgaged to the hilt on her Sanctuary house. The degree is a doctorate level...meaning she is Ms smarty pants. Deduction calls for extra points in INT, plus a perception boost from dealing with more than a few shady characters she met during school. That comes with a boost in CHA... not because she is attractive. More likely because she used that to help make her way through what law school threw at her.
Learning how to talk to people is a key asset to have in a courtroom.

She is in decent shape, but since she had a baby just a few months ago can mean that her AGL and her STR are down somewhat. She could have still been on maternity leave when she went into the vault. Only because caring for an infant can mean there is little time for her to hit the gym these days.... or much of anything else. And since there are those IRL nonexistent mountains around the area, she has some wilderness skills. Her hubby being in the Army trained her in the ways of hitting the trail and surviving out in the wilderness if she had to.

Wow you've thought it through. I had reason to believe that she too had served, and that perhaps the law degree was likely from her cashing in on the GI bill. As far as timelines go that makes a bit more sense for the default characters considering they appear about 35+ years old. I can't recall ever seeing anything that supports that though so it's probably just my imagination. But I quite like the idea of having head-cannon behind the characters, especially after reading the funny thread on this forum about everyone's own characters. Some good imaginations.

In my last post however, I was just being facetious. I pointed out the clean linens because everything seemed so spotless. It was my assumption that you had played the game for so long that you traded the dirty post-apocalyptic world for a nice seaside villa. Lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. It was just an observation that intrigued me.

An astute observation. And thanks. All the clean stuff is from mods. The clothing is basically all new content from various sources. And these days I tend to go for large clothing packs that have multiple pieces. Same thing for structures, crafting items & scenery items. FYI, I got word this afternoon that IceStorm's new rev of his clothes mod will have about 750 combinations. Creative Gardens from Frogprincess has a massive load of items... as does Creative Clutter. Thanks in part to Damanding. I wonder what they are working on now? Luxor8071 has 3 (and still counting) AIO hi res texture packs that just blows away what Bethesda released for their DLC packs. And then there's construction kits like Snappy houses, G2M, Warehouses Extended and others that make building things a lot more enjoyable.

The absolute god-send - Place Everywhere - can you imagine if we were still "rug glitching" - Watch Y Tube - some designers still are! FPS...

Some interesting pics today.... I feel like the drunk on the Wicker Scarecrow :) And there are some really glitchy things going on in Somervile Place.
