Solved Fast Travel directly to Outpost or Vassal not available?

Hi. No option to fast travel to outpost or vassal. Once a settlement is converted to an outpost or vassal, fast travel is no longer possible. Any fast travel marker is gone, only the orange dome icon or square.

Is that designed to prevent CTD if fast travelling directly to an outpost or vassal? (It has been that way since the very first outpost). Thanks.

SOLVED: It was the Satellite World Map Mod- the Colored version that prevented Conqueror's special map icons and associated fast travel ability from being activated.

Any idea what might be causing that? (the outpost dome is a square with the bottom missing. orange line up orange line over and line back down and the vassal is the solid square with a post like the floating item makers in game).

hundreds of hours played and never had that issue or strangeness.

If you can, should look like this:

FIXED. It was the Sattelite WOrld Map- the Colored version. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8989. I had removed another zoom in map mod but had forgotten about this one. Ugh.

Now works as shown here:

Not being to fast travel to any outpost or base was getting tiresome. May have to do a full restart with 2 hour load time! ha ha

bullyrook - THANKS for your input and help and the screenshot request that prompted me to figure this out.

Ha ha. Yup.

Quick question- since I will have to restart anyway- In the SS download files - What is the purpose of the optional RotC Complex City Plans? Do those add more complexity and more demand on the system- or are those the more optimized plans that will place Less demand on the system?

It seems as though thery are there to Reduce load. If I want better performance is taht what I should download? (I have a very strong system (9700K processor, 2070 card etc) but I like to have things as smooth as possible. Thanks again.

What is the purpose of the optional RotC Complex City Plans?

To quote Kinggath:

"Complex plans generally have much more detail, more clutter, use more of the space, and some of them support 20+ settlers.

Optimized trim down a lot of the clutter, remove certain pieces or sections, and cap at 15 settlers."--https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/where-are-the-complex-city-plans.8090/

Also check out this thread: https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/where-are-the-complex-city-plans.8090/ Most notably the second post there.

bullyrook, thanks. I was mistakenly thinking the complex plans were just the normal ones provided and the optional RotC complex plans were an optimized version. But I see now, while they are an optimized version - they are a version of separate more complex plans (even some of the original more complex plans/stuff with lots of extra objects).

So, instead just going with the normal ones ( and NOT downloading the complex plans) will result in less cluttered plans and better performance than I had. Really appreciate that. Thanks.

bullyrook, again, a genuine thank you. I of course don't enjoy restarting. However, only 5 hours in, I will not continue without the ability to fast travel to outposts, although I enjoy not normal traveling a lot. And as I never uninstall a mod mid game, I will restart without the map zoom in mod.

So this extra info you provided will help tremendously as I will also use the normal plans and probably have them capped at level 1. I may even add a few of the Simple Settlement Plans by bowenje that Kinggath suggested for lower systems in his Conqueror Phase 2 video.

Now just need to decide to go as Gunners or Minutemen! Ha ha. I would like to go as Gunners and avoid all MM stuff entirely, but I experimented with both and taking over an outpost as Minutemen (Liberator) was so much more challenging as the opposition was much more difficult. I would rather have a challenging time of it so MM it is I guess.

Thanks again. Have a great day!
