Episode 1 doesn't start

Hello, I downloaded Sim Settlement 2 with the episodes, addons that go with it and the workshop framework. But it no longer works. Jack just doesn't show up in Sanctuary. The first quest doesn't start. What can I do?

Try starting a new playthrough without the Unofficial FO4 Patch. That got it to work for me.

There can be several reasons for Jake not showing up. I always have the Unofficial FO4 Patch installed, and he appears when I retest every time.
