Fixed Enslaved not working

When I take over a settlement, subdue the settlers. They become enslaved, but right after all their heads explode! what is wrong here?

I am hoping this is a bug, I've tried 3 different settlements and it happens in each one, whether I have slave collars or not.

impossible to get an awnser here

The team definitely will, and has in other threads. Definitely a bug, and it happens even worse if the enslaved are next to each other because it appears to chain react with each other. Those settlers who aren't nearby seem to be just fine in my one slaver outpost, but the one's that were grouped together during the fight - BOOM! It was an explosion more massive than a mini-nuke.

Ok, new game, new run, I removed Better Settlers, hoping that would be causing the issue.

So during the raid, I just walked around to all the "subdued" civilians and settlers and I had the option to execute. I left my cursor on one of the civilians and waited for the raid to be over... as soon as I got the quest complete notice, for one second I saw the enslave option and then ALL the settlers and civilians died. Could it be something with the quest completion triggers a detonation?

Have also tried three slaver raids and each time, right after quest completion, they all blow up.

It's weird because I also have the Jammer walkabout bug, and I saw on another post Kinggath is thinking a mod conflict, but I've gone through my load order a bunch of times and I can't see anything that would even remotely touch npc AI

Ya I did a slaving run on level 3 starlight drive-in, downed all the civilians killed the gunners protecting them, when it completed there were explosions everywhere and 90% of the population was dead. One of the enslaved survived but was hostile to me at that point, they ran at me and my companion shot them, they went down, then got back up and walked away no longer hostile. I looted 2 more collars from the corpses, so it seemed like 3 of the enslaved did not detonate but were killed by the collar explosions of people next to them. The one that survived was not added to the settlement, I guess they despawned. I took 5 raiders with me for the attack, only one survived, and my new outpost had a population of 1.

I had similar results during a pillage run as well, after the attack ended most of the population just fell over and died for no apparent reason, then when I fast traveled back to my base all the raiders that went on the attack with me returned but fell over and died on the spot. I had assumed at the time my raiders died because I had no beds yet, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Just got home from work and thought I'd try to test a couple of things out. I disabled everything except sim settlements mods and the workshop mods and loaded into a save right before a slaver run. Ran in, killed everything....explody heads.

I know that the script is loaded too, because after seeing Kinggath's advice, I rolled a new character, exited the vault and just stood him up there and went to bed. Then I went to work in the morning, so that character literally sat for 15 real world hours before I even moved him from the top of the vault.

It would be cool to hear an update on how this went. I really don’t want to remove all my mods and just have sim settlements on by itself.

Their heads still exploded. It didn't work. Tomorrow, I'm going to disable everything but sim settlement mod and workshop and just start a new game and see what happens.

Thanks for the update. So what you’re saying is that it’s most likely the Sim settlements mods that are the source of this?

I wouldn't think so. It's got to be something else since Kinggath and his testers can't seem to replicate it at all. That's why I'll disable everything but Sim Settlement mods and workshop framework and just start a clean, new game.

If I still have bugs, then I have no clue what's going on

I'm starting new and going to try and see if i get the same bugs and work from there. I have 107+ plugins i use so this may take a while... >.<

Edit:OMGG SOMEONE PLEASE KILL ME THIS VANILLA ASS GAME xD

This should all be working as of 4.0.3. Further improvements to the enslavement mechanic will come in time.
