Hopefully I can figure out how to make a City Plan and import it into my current playthrough. This is my first attempt at anything Sim Settlements other than the RoTC plans set to automatic. Very early on, not much had been added other than the extended pier, some patches to the main building and a makeshift bridge. The wooden column support is going to drive me crazy, so I'm stopping here for now.

On a side note, is it bad practice to use the console command "scrapall" to scrap everything automatically? I Don't use Scrap Everything, so my hope is that it just scrapped all the vanilla scrappables.

Yes it is.
Use the Town Gavel to scrap the settlement. It has the same profile as what's on the server and is totally vanilla.
And looking good! :)

Thank you for the tip, I'll restart and use the gavel instead. Shouldn't take me too long to rebuild the bit that I had done.

Started over using the Town Gavel to scrap everything, I'll post screenshots when I get more done. I do have a question however. Does anyone have any tips on how to stop weather change? While I'm building, I set the weather the Clearest, however I'm plagued by all the various Far Harbor weather and it's difficult to see...

Also, I would like the settlement to grow while I build, but stopping to sleep every 12-14 in game hours is slowing progress. Any way to force daylight without changing timescale or anything that would affect SS?

EDIT: Progress so far. Plan on adding more elevated paths and shack type buildings.
