Dying in pre-war Sanctuary...omg

Played FO4 since launch and had no idea till now you could die in the pre-war startup Sanctuary tutorial/new game start stage.

Was ~35min into full Conqueror build stage and got tired of just afk inside house, so went outside during the nuke siren alert but not towards the path to Vault 111.

Went towards the main bridge and *boom*, dead....

This has got to be the Darwin award since my death also interrupted Conqueror almost completing at ~90% of Stage 4, and had to restart from scratch (again).

Whenever I activate it, I stay put "do nothing that could interfere".
Get a snack or watch some TV.

I do all my prebuilds in the vault. The quicker I can get out of prewar. The better things are.

Just dont activate conqueror till either you get out of the pod, or at the elevator exit.

Oh, and then go get a sandwich. Or a beer. Go for walk, take a shower... haha. You get the idea. It is roughly up to 3 hours, depending on options, number of settlements etc.

Also, when waiting, drive your character till Nora's nose is in a dark corner in the vault. Only way to maximize fps so it processes faster.

Imagine nora was bad and had to stand in the corner... haha Works for me.
