Donation saying i dont have enough space to donate any supplies.

Hello.

This is a problem i've been trying to fix for a whole day. I am stuck on the quest "If i had a hammer" and unable to donate any of my junk. I've searched everywhere for a solution, but i've got nothing. I just get the items i've tried to donate back, and that's that.

Any fix?

Which specific items are you trying to donate? It should only accept "Junk" class items (hammers, screwdrivers, etc) and the base components thereof (Screws, Gears, Wood, and so on).

I have tried to donate screwdrivers, wood, many things which i have forgotten. I do remember trying woord and screwdrivers, and some shipments, but didn't work.

I have tried to donate screwdrivers, wood, many things which i have forgotten. I do remember trying woord and screwdrivers, and some shipments, but didn't work.(sorry for repeating the message, i'm quite new to this site, so i wasn't sure how to reply at the time.)

And do you actually have storage space in the Virtual Storage? (the HUD element up in the top right by default).

Try placing a Storage Container, then donate some wood, or steel.

Hi I also have the same issue - I can donate caps, but not materials / junk etc, I have plenty of space, plus I added additional space. I've started different play through, even on a different computer, so I'm starting to think it's another mod - probably Horizon
Is there any way we can share mod lists or post them here?

I've confirmed that in 1.0.17 (actually from 1.0.16b) this is happening to everyone regardless of mod loadout; my confirmed bug-report didn't get in until it was too late to make it into today's patch, unfortunately.
Something else DOES interfere with it though for some people, but I'm unsure what yet.

I am having the same issue. I am not sure if I downloaded 1.0.16b, but from 1.0.16 to 1.0.17 I have completely lost the ability to donate resources. I am not sure if the issue is actually in the donating of resources, or in the storage of resources. All of my settlements, including my heavy industrial settlements, seem to be zeroing out on resources, which makes me wonder if it is a problem with the virtual storage system itself. A few plots still seem to be upgrading, which makes me wonder if it is just a hud issue; but I have a feeling it is a virtual storage issue.

If it is in fact an issue with the entire virtual storage system, than this would warrant a 1.0.17a in my opinion.

Still not working for me - I have an extra storage container (2000 total) my settlers have accrued 128 or similar, so there is plenty of space but it still won't accept.
Does anyone else use horizon while playing? I would disable it but I think that would kill my save. I would post my load order but I can't figure out how to get vortex to export it. Horizon and Sim Settlement 2 are my favourite mods - is there any way I can edit a file to input donations?

Judging by a quick search of the forums since SS2 launched, it seems Horizon is pretty consistently causing this specific problem - it looks like the Horizon people were working on a compatibility patch, but I see no further mention of that since a couple months ago.

I enjoy Sim Settlements too much - I also enjoy Horizon making my Fallout life miserable - don't wish to uninstall either
