Donating items hiccup/Suggestion

Problem: When you donate the workbench contents to a settlement the items returned default to your inventory.
Solution: Have it send workbench supplies back to the workbench when I try to donate too much.

Ive gotten pinned down by this at least once. I donated and left - cause donations take forever to process. I was well away from my settlement when all of a sudden I couldnt move.

There is a choice in City Manager Holotape to have donations go back to you or the workbench. I always choose workbench.
It is under usability.

Yup but it defaults to my inventory now when it didnt before.

That's why I always donate shipments, or I break all junk down to components. It's easier for me to see how much I can donate that way.
