Does any plot or system consume fertilzer...? All mine vanished

So i'm early in a playthrough with just the three basic plots - resi, agri, and indi. The plots have all started hitting level 3, some are still 2.
When i left Sanctuary, i noted I had around 225 fertilizer and just under 200 plastic left - as I planned on doing a sales run later and would be making Jet.
2 in-game days later after doing some quests, Sanctuary had zero fertilizer, but still the 190 plastic. o.O

I have the "turrets and generators need caps" system off but AFAIK that literally only takes caps, it doesn't try to burn its own fuel. There's also a Brahman that came to the settlement, so if anything i should be gaining Fertilizer.

Is there a plot or addon (I have Wasteland Venturers, for example, and am using one or two Indi plots from it) that would use up fert for any reason....?

I have suspected compoents go missing before - like, i coulda sworn i had more Adhesive, etc. But this is the first time I know I had a definite amount, didn't use any of it myself, and had every last bit of it disappear.

Anyone else experience this...? Is it a vanilla bug?

...yeah, something is definitely eating random components. Been paying attention to what I bring back and tracking component totals (in the workbench, the "real junk" - I have SS2 set to Categories). And every morning after sleeping for 6-10 hours, i check totals again, and a bunch are just gone. Something's consuming parts from my workbench.

The virtual totals for the settlement are all super high; it shouldn't need to be getting any ongoing Plot costs or whatnot from the workbench.

Any ideas on how i can try to narrow this down further?

I do know that in the vanilla game before ever adding any mods, I would lose stuff. So, it may be the same "bug". (Some sort of weevil that consumes junk?) :smile

I started breaking down all my junk into components before putting them into the workshop and it seems to keep everything. I know that's a lot of work, but I think there's a mod for a rapid dismantler.

If you run Underground Hideout with the Settlement the workbench in the hideout develops a hole. I reported it to the dev when the mod came out and it seems to still be there.

Ive had it bad enough when I cheated and added thousands of materials the next day the bench was empty. Im not entirely sure if its a vanilla bug or just something to do with the design.

Ah I might be offbase the maker posted this update "
  • Fixed Workshop Container link. It is now linked to the settlement workshop container where you built the elevator."

That explains why after an update my are linked. I had seen something when I first used it you had to go through some hoops to link them and so I just didn't. That may be why I didn't have a hole.

Oh and just to mention before I forget -
In order to make fertilizer off brahmen you need the Brahmen feed tub found in food / resources of the workshop.

Source? I always place one anyway, but i thought it just kept them from wandering around. At any rate I have one. So it's not that.
