Dialogue Planning Help

So... very new to the concept of building a mod, and of course I wanna start with a Quest idea I have and want to itch.
I watched thru the Kinggath videos partially (picking and choosing to get my feet wet) and know how to build the dialogue now, create conditions and all that. However before I start I really wanna plan the basics out so that I dont trip on things (memory aint what it was).

Any apps beyond something like Articy:draft out there? I mean, I dont usually worry about dropping a hundo on an app these days but money is tight currently.

I looked at Twinery and it looks more like i'll need to code while planning, and while I can do that, I would rather a tool I can just click and drag to fill out as innocuously as possible

For working out branching dialogue, I would definitely recommend using Twine. While there are options to add code elements, they are only really used if you want to use the program to make a chose-your-own-adventure type game. All you really need is to have are links between your passages and the tags are really useful to quickly identify actors (if you give them a colour).
