Dialog box prompt and WASD keys

When I get a dialog box for anything such as what to do with objects after deleting a layer. The WASD keys act like the arrow keys navigating through workshop menu instead of moving the character. This can be fixed by leaving workshop mode so its not difficult to work through it just wanted to bring it to your attention
