I had very high hopes for the mod - it looks so amazing. it would fantastic to play as a raider with it, too... but I can't figure it out. I'm not sure what is causing it to conflict with. It "starts" but after the initial activation, it never does anything ever again. The NPC's are in game, and I can interact with them... but they don't do anything (I can't pick up contracts, I can't get attacked by bounty hunters.... any of it).

Obviously, CaP isn't a KG mod... I just kind of suspect that it's one of the SS mods which are conflicting with it.... and I'd hoped someone had some insight.

CAP and SS do not clash. I use them personally.

To detect what is conflicting your best bet would be to start with FO4Edit and running show all conflicts.

The only other clashes would be script overwriting which is a longer and more involved process to detect.

The right procedure to test conflicts apart form the above.

  1. Create a backup of your save.
  2. Disable half your mods. Check if the problem continues.
  3. If no problem - Enable half of the disabled half - Test - Rinse and repeat.
  4. If you have a problem - Disable half of the enabled half - Test - Refer to step 3 or 4.

Thanks! I have gone through and disabled half... and a quarter... etc - the problem is that CaP works, sort of.... it's hard for me to identify whether it's working or not... i guess I could save in front of a settler, and then murder said settler - finding out whether the system sees it as murder, or not

After seeing your load order I suspect the problem is in the order you have stuff loaded and the lack of any compatibility patches. I will address this in the other thread.
