when i try to assign a slave to a plot this message pops up "non-settlement slaves currently cant be assigned to plots" do i have to get to a certain point in jammers quest?

I think that it's more to do with the slave collar feature being a work in progress. Many of the npc's that you might capture with the collars will not have the right set up to be able to work in a settlement. Slaves that you get via a slave plot are generated specifically for the job so will work.

Then probably not.

What NDC makes sense as I have run into similar.

I don't use slaves myself, but I've seen KG and other veteran raiders talk about about the slave system on here at various times in the past.

yep, same here. I get them or I don't.

I have only gotten like 3 slaves "ever" and they were generated by the mod "Crime and Punishment" and they assigned just fine to sim settlement plots.

The only SS I have seen were already generated as part of a prebuilt city plan.
