Question Conqueror setup blocked at stage 1/4

Hello all,

I have been trying for a few weeks (I don’t play as much as before) to play through Conqueror. However during the set up, the loading is stuck at “Stage 1/4: Placing Objects” at 100% but it does not go to stage 2. And every time I open a barter window, the set up starts over and asks me to choose settlements, city plans etc.

I am on Xbox X.

Did you change any of the options at startup, or just use the default options?

I actually just tested Conqueror on my Xbox a week ago and everything went great, but I used the default settings, so perhaps one of the options is causing problems.

Thank you for your answer! I did try with an earlier save and I selected Xbox (regular), and level 1 cities (I had previously selected Xbox One S and level 3 cities) and it was still very slow. I will try again!
