Would it be possible to make it so that after quite a bit of conquering and after naming your gang, other raiders stop being hostile to the player? Even if it's not openly hostile (neutral until you start firing). I just think that after naming your gang and spreading through the Commonwealth, your group should have built up enough respect/fear from the other raiders that they wouldn't open fire on you in fear of repercussions.

Also, maybe a way to call in backup similar to the minutemen flares. I have only gotten to where you get maul, so if any of this is already implemented, I apologize as I haven't gotten that far yet.
 
Out of curiosity, how far have you gotten in the raider plot? I ask because there's a particular quest that addresses your question to an extent.

Re: backup... said backup would also have to draw from your existing pool of raiders, and I'm not sure how hard that would be to script (that's strictly KG territory there).

I'm just starting to get maul his doggies, so I guess I'll find out about reputation eventually.

The Bounties for You mod implements a seemingly complex reputation mechanic. I'd be incredible if it or something like it could be re-purposed into an evolving faction-based rep mechanic (not just for Raider plot but any/all faction playthroughs). My concern though is the potential for breaking things, inconsistencies, etc (not aligned with KISS approach).
