Connecting external crafting stations

Is there any way/mod to 'connect' external crafting stations to an already existing settlement? I'm thinking specifically of the ones at RR HQ and the Overboss area in Nuka world (Diamond City and University Point being other good candidates), which for some reason don't share even with each other. I've seen stuff about creating a workbench in an area, but there seem to be a lot of reasons not to do that.

Not certain, but it would be immensely helpful. There are so many individual crafting stations all over the Commonwealth wasteland, and yet it's really not efficient to carry all the parts you might need to repair or build with them as you go, generally. Having some way to connect them, at least the ones with certain proximity to existing settlements, could certainly increase their usefulness.

I think a good workaround is if we could carry "packs" or patches
10 steel 5 aluminum and some circuitry could be a "power armor repair patch" that weigh a single pound.

that was the purpose of the mods of weapon and armor but i dont know where they screw it somehere in the design process because you put all time the best on your weapon and dont want to change when you explore x)

I have added The Mobile Mechanic to my loadout which is (like a lot of things) a nice combo with IDEK's Logistics station. Create the kits, toss them in the logistics locker, you have work stations you can use anywhere that's linked. I only carry the weapons/armor kits, for scrapping the relevant items and occasionally swapping out legendaries, but highly useful.

Interesting, I hadn't seen that mod before. Similarly, I was considering using the Scavver's Toolbox, or the older Portable Junk Recycler, to at least lighten my load, but I don't want to scrap some items - obviously - however it'd be nice to then *easily* discard all the scrap into a pickup location; nothing is more daunting than clicking one half your inventory just to lighten your load.

I was thinking about this thread yesterday, and while I was playing around I started thinking about how the Provisioner system works, as well as mods like Salvage Beacons, Logistic Stations, and such. Would it be possible with mods to connect the provisioners or caravan suppliers to the outlying crafting stations in a similar manner to Salvage Beacons?
