Compatibility with Orphans of the Commonwealth

Let me just Copy-Pasta what I wrote on Nexus:

"One small incompatibility that should be noted is with Orphans of the Commonwealth. I use this because having kids around makes the world more immersive for me. The only problem is that Beacons will use these kids as parts of the salvage teams. That actually works fine, but the custom outfits assigned to the kids don't fit the models so I end up with kids on salvage teams walking around in their underwear. Kinda weirds me out a little. Even worse, you can't interact with these NPC to give them clothes."

Ideally, the models used for the salvage crews would only filter out kids, but I don't know if that's possible. This seems like something scripts that I won't be able to fix in xEdit.
 
I can't fix all of your issues but I think I can help with a part.:clap
Kids that age should not be outside the house in their underwear. I mean parents these days.

click on the punk or punkette and console
~ openactorcontainer 1

I haven't found an NPC this does not work on.:good
 
What'll that do? Give them their default outfit? Interesting trick - I'll have to try it.

That's a reasonable fix, but I could also just ignore them, right? Don't they de-spawn once they get to their destination? Problem is, they randomly RE-spawn and it happens over and over.
 
Orphans "edits" the LCharWorkshopNPC which Salvage Beacons "uses" for the salvage teams.
So technically there is no conflict between the two.
And at the moment I can't think how to patch it. LOL

Yep, that is what I would do as they are temporary. Sorry, I don't use that mod but it would bug me too. :crazy I don't know a lot but I would think you could fix it with F4edit.

After changing the guards' underwear - haha I just did what the author suggested and ----

You maybe could do something like the above. youtube how to make an .esp or just make an edit.

I just threw it out there as a quick fix.

I used that command until I did something like the above, now just use that console cmd for immersion with other NPC's.

Listen to Woody. I break stuff long before I ever fix it.

Would it be correct to say that, for what they do, neither mod could do anything differnet to avoid the conflict, nothing can be cleanly patched, and they are fundamentally incompatible?
