Suggestion Companion Affinity Changes?

I did the Quantum Stag quest the other day and when I sent the Quantum Stag to Sanctuary as a pet I received a "Piper liked that." So the ability to mod affinity changes for dialogue does exist.

Is there any plans to eventually add the affinity changes in for Jammer's quest line?

Honestly, Conqueror's plot doesn't really jive well with the moral compass of most vanilla companions, so if we did implement such a thing, your companions would mostly just grow to hate you even faster as you help out Jammer and co.

Well Cait, Strong, Macready, and Hancock would go along with the morals fairly fine.

However Piper, Preston, Danse, Curie, Codsworth, and Nick would not.

Not very far off from the older games where you need to certain amounts of karma to use certain followers.

I don't know, it always seemed to me that each of those characters were on some sort of redemption path. Sidenote: Macready is a whiny b***h. Lol.

Would be cool to see a mod that sees these characters get corrupted. Or even the goody-goods.
The idea would be to take their ideals/character and have them turn the character evil.

Danse:
Gets kicked out of the BOS.
Turns to drugs.
Becomes indebted to raiders.
Starts off with petty theft.
Makes his way up to raiding to feed his habit.
Eventually finds a purpose and camaraderie with your raider outfit.
I never liked Danse but I would love to see this change in game.

Piper:
Finally gets thrown from DC.
Tries to make her way to goodneighbor but gets snatched by raiders.
Forced to do unspeakable things.
Makes a deal with your crew to provide inside info on her captors gang.
Your gang takes them out.
Piper recruited as a spy/raider bait, perhaps not willingly but beats the alternative.
Maybe even turn her into a propagandist as revenge against DC.

Nick:
Gets wasted.
Raider techie rebuilds him.
Uses memory of dead raider, rather than cop.
This one's a bit of a stretch but I'm sure there are people with good imaginations that could come up with something.
Alternatively: He gets activated by the institute, he wastes some civilians and then becomes corrupted machine bent on vengeance against the institute.

Curie:
Vault 81 (i forget which one she's in), gets raided.
Taken to be turned into battle-bot.
Raider techie recognizes her AI.
(I don't know where they get these guys with programming/engineering backgrounds)
Turns her into a synth instead of the memory centre. (Although this implies sex-bot. I don't know if it couldn't.)
Becomes player companion.
Because she is so impressionable she becomes interested in violence and death rather than... UGH! Feelings?!
This has some fun potential given she is so naive. I would love to see Curie getting excited about wasting people.

Codsworth:
This is easy, especially for Start-me-up players:
Gets shot up and taken for scrap by your gang.
Turned into a mascot for the raiders to get drunk and take shots at. (Stupid outfits and all)
Programming keeps him loyal considering he thinks you're still the parents of Shaun.
Becomes weaponized for companion use.
His loyal character turns him into one constantly taken advantage of.

Cait and Strong:
Would need to not have any development. Unfortunately that makes her a bit boring.

Hancock:
Probably needs something to push him over the edge. Maybe he gets usurped by that raider chick... Angel? I forget her name, his bodyguard.

Macready:
Offers his services in return for you helping find the medicine.
PC is given the opportunity to destroy the medicine when found, thus Macready's services can be maintained indefinitely. Perhaps instructed by Jammer to do so?
Alternatively they take too long to get it and word comes that his son dies.
Macready spirals into depression, etc. etc.

Anyway, I'm sure no-one needs to read that as it seems like a massive undertaking even just to attempt to bring into the game, but I thought it would be fun to think about. :D

EDIT: Haha, I just saw the censor edit and got confused as hell. It said "Macready is a whiny I love you."
Also grammar.

Hancock would be more likely to be ousted by Bobbi No-nose (go through with her raid or something)

Danse would probably Join the minutemen or the railroad as a heavy.
Mcready is morally adaptive but i suppose he could loose his S**t if the cure for his son doesn't make it back and his son dies.
Rebuilding Codsworth could be done by a Rust Devil.
Curie should not be touched either.
Sadly however this means re-voicing the companions since they don't really have a bad attitude.
espec not Nick or Danse.
And tbh there should be consequences for going down the raider path.

It would probably be best to not change the vanilla companions and instead use the talented voice actors and create new Companions from the ground.
you could probably stick in a potential raider companion in the superdupermart when you retrive Jammers stash have him/her pinned in the apothecary section.

The topic was about affinity changes for decisions made...
My bad, I was probably the one who derailed that. :shok

I know yours was a suggestion to get companions to gel better with conqueror, but have you found anything to make it a little more bearable? I ask because MrJoseCuervo made a little mod that makes companions indifferent to murder. For some reason however Piper still gets testy about mass-murder, but overall it makes things a bit easier. Could help hold you over until something more sleek comes out.

I'm totally onboard with a mod that syncs things up better though. Even if there's a way to make things a little more morally grey.

Personally companions are annoying as @#$%.

I had previously always wondered if quests could be modded to give affinity. Then before posting this I did the Quantum Stag from Creation Club and it gave affinity changes.

Now I play a game enough times, I eventually get to the point where I want to makes choices just to see how mad it makes your companions. Was fun in SWTOR.

I just thought it would be a cool addition, but nobody wants to add it, so meh, whatever.

I kinda cheat in this regard....

Amazing follower tweaks allows you to flip their likes/dislikes. You will still get their random commentary, but Piper can be made to love murder, and Curie still sticks around no matter how mean I am to everyone.

Yes you will still get affinity and unlock companion quests
