I encountered a funny situation I wanted to share and ask the community whether somebody has encountered something similar or a fix for it. I sent the gang from Who Can? Asam! to Hangman's Alley. I made Hubert the mayor as one of his ability is to spawn Children of Atom patrols. I found that funny cause their patrols have a very wide radius and they regularly get into firefights with the surrounding raiders and super mutants.
I used the vanilla settlement plan because I couldn't be bothered to build it myself. But I expanded heavily after lvl 1. There is a recreational interior plot next to the unscrapable building. I have some SS2 Addons installed so I picked a rather interesting plot as a substitute for the recreational vanilla plot, namely a brothel. I think it's form Legalize the Commonwealth. It spawns a "working gurl" each lvl and gives charisma training which fits perfectly as Hangman's became my trade hub. Also I have a lot of visitors that take advantage of the plot which is kinda nice.
The only issue is that the Children of Atom patrols suddenly decided that prostitution is against Atom's teachings or whatever and they attack the poor girls as soon as they see them. Those do not fight back but as they are essential and cannot die it's an infinite loop. Furthermore my defenses do luckily not react to them and they do for what reason no damage to the player. But the occasional nuke grenades do rad damge. Also something I've never seen before is that one of the CoA guys took Ashmaker out of my stockpile and used it. This I found not very funny. It could have ended up anywhere. Other than that can basicially farm them for their gear what I ofc don't do. But I could so I guess something is not working as intented.
I know that an easy fix would be to make somebody else the mayor. Also I could just put the brothel onto the third floor where the CoA patrols never go. But maybe there is another fix? Help those girls as they have it hard enough as it is... (pic related).
