Question Can't turn off fly mode or have regular movement speed.

I turned off the fly mode and speed increase immediately after leaving the vault. I knew to do this because the flying when building a settlement always makes me want to puke so I turn all of that off also. But I still fly in workshop mode and go extremely fast every time I am even close to a settlement. Should I start a new game or can this be removed without killing my game? I have mcm, ss2, and all that is required. I didn't think to try console commands to go slower and to remove the bird mode? but I can go back and try. I am on survival mode but have the console enabled.

Toggle the settings a few times in MCM, sometimes they get stuck/don’t take.

I had already uninstalled and reinstalled the mod doing the clean save? routine. Every once in a while I start to fly but then it drops me back down.

I hate to tell you: There is no such thing as a "clean save" routine.

The moment you uninstall a mod and save your game with that mod now removed, you have damaged your saved game.

You now have only two ways of "fixing" this issue:

1/ Revert to the save before you did that "clean save" business (and make sure that the mod you removed is back in your loadorder, in exactly the same location as before)

2/ Start a new game

Yeah, I know the save thing doesn't mean the game won't be corrupted but I was told to do that to see if it fixes the issue.
