No Response cant seem to ban building plans

i watched the tutorial on the fact i can ban certain plans from being built for plots. So before i picked my city plan from the desk, i told the local plans to ban everything but VT types. ( i left all VT plots in the desk) then selected my plan, however it still placed all junky plots still making my fault look..well...dirty...

what can i do to prevent this?

I'm not sure about this but (presuming you have selected the designer's choice), planned city plots override the ban? I think the plot bans are for your manually placed plots.

Definitely check to see if the Designer's Choice is checked. If so, Nosmorituri is spot on. Otherwise, you've likely encountered a bug and I'll have to try replicating it when I have the time.
