Question Can't enter Conquest settelments without crash wondering if I can uninstall SS and the buildings remain

So, I built a pretty cool mega settlement in the area between the Quincy Ruins, Quincy Quarries, Wilson Atomatoys and Murkwater. I have the area from Murkwater up to QQ and QR completely connected using the now-unsupported mod Conquest with 3 Original Sim Settlements settlements. I built a really cool swamp village connected with all kinds of rickety bridges, a military base that is the Southern Command Outpost of the Minutemen and a number of other things. Everything was humming along until the buildings started to level up.
Now, I can't take more than 2 steps into any settlement without it crashing.
I want to make a video of it and post it to a Reddit sub about settlements, but I can't take a step or 2 before it crashes. I realize this is most likely due to the fact that I'm on an original Xbone, and that the settlements are so close together and built up.
So I was wondering, If I uninstall Sim Settlements, will the buildings and everything still remain so that I can get a video?

I'm having a similar issue on PC. My mods and main game have been installed and working for a few months now, but now that I'm getting the hang of SS2 and leveling up settlements, the game crashes regularly.
It seems to be when I'm walking into a leveled up settlement, like your experience.
