Building in the triangle of doom

I am also of note running Starlight at 26 people and it hasn't griefed me yet. I am actually considering turning back on the feature hat allows recruiting past city plan limit just to see what will happen. I need people to send to a couple other settlements I am about to start up so extra people are good for me right now. Organic Recruiting has stopped at both Sanctuary and Starlight due to being at their respected City Plan limits.

So the Comm plots salvage beacons have been working well for you?

Thanks
Oh yeah really well. Just be mindful of the distance they work at. I place them at settlements that have high salvageable areas nearby. Like Jamaica Plans and Taffington/Covenant, and Greentop. Hangman's I want one but can't afford to have that many people coming in if it over recruits, Thought about Oberland is close to downtown area.

And they can only do one run at a time so you need to give a crew time to return before placing one in the same area as an already working crew.

I was going to wait to get city plans before building the other settlement then I decided to heck with it and am building up Starlight.

Sometimes I spawn in a workbench in god mode and build in places like around the market in DC and then disable the workbench and enjoy my work, like the trailer on top of your house why can't I build there, well this way I can.

I use to do that with the RoTC plans in ss1, I would build them level them up to 3 note where everything was and improve on them in my own way.

I have noticed that the way I manual-build Sanctuary ends up near identical every single time... maybe I should just convert it into a Template or City Plan at this point... although my micromanager self doesn't use those for a reason...

I have noticed that when I manually build settlements, I tend to a settlement with a similar layout each time. I've also been thinking about making a Template / City Plan for those specific settlements.
