"Buckle Up, Buttercup" -- some days, you can't get rid of a novelty horse

This is happening on v1.0.3. I was able to find the trunk and liberate Lacey's deposit from Diamond City. But now that I have it, she's just saying generic things in my settlement when I talk to her and I can't progress the quest, though the quest marker points right to her. I've tried dropping it in front of her on the odd chance she'd respond to that, but no dice. I had another quest active, "Dog Eat Dog", at the same time in the same settlement, and was able to complete that one, if that's any help.

Same problem with me. I've decided to just sit in it until a patch comes along.

I am also having this issue as of 1.0.3. Her behavior is that of a typical settler, I can direct her to settlements and give her tasks but the quest does not terminate. Holding onto Batterup until a solution presents itself.

Can confirm it was ironed out in v1.0.4. Went back to the settlement she showed up at, pulled the novelty horse out of the workbench (what? those things are heavy) and handed it over to her, at which point she asked to be directed to a settlement and unlocked her store plot. Great to see that taken care of!
