Question Broken Immersion at Tenpines Bluff

I have a play-through going where I elected not to murder the Quincy five. I accompanied them to Sanctuary, got the quest The First Step from Preston and did the Sanctuary quest with Sturges. Then I went to Jammer and did his quests until we took a raider outpost at Red Rocket. I then raided Tenpines Bluff and took it as a vassal. I shot the last civilian and activated the workbench. The civilian, whom I'd just shot in the face, then got up and thanked me for killing Jared at Corvega, and said they'd decided to help the Minutemen. I returned to Preston and he's totally fine with it.

Unfortunately, a fix for that would require editing vanilla stuff, which I avoid. Might make for a nice community patch at some point to tackle this sort of thing, but I have way too much on my plate to tackle such a thing as there could be tons of repercussions from editing the vanilla radiant quests.

Thanks. I've just loaded SKK Workshop Ownership Utilities and Tenpines Bluff is indeed Minutemen allied, apparently as a result of accepting The First Step, and a raider vassal at the same time. Further Googling claims it's impossible to fail The First Step even if you kill the two settlers encountered at Tenpines Bluff. Preston will express annoyance, but the quest succeeds.

As a result of the settlement being Minutemen allied, all new settlers arriving at the settlement are Settlers rather than Civilians.

Is there a way to remove the MM alliance from Tenpines via console? Convert vanilla settlers to Conqueror civilians?

@kinggath Couldn't you programmatically remove the Minutemen alliance from the settlement, drop Preston's affinity, and remove player access to Sanctuary's workshop?
