Attack Markers Required for Oct. 2018 Contest?

I nearly finished all four of my city levels and forgot all about attack markers. The [Check My Settlement] tool isn't indicating that they're required. Do I still need them or has that requirement been removed?

You should have them - however, all vanilla settlements have default attack markers, so they are not needed.

This. It'll just use wherever Bethesda placed the default attack markers.

No, they aren't mandatory - but they are very helpful if you built a lot of walls - as ideally the markers will be fairly close to the entrances.

So I went to place my first attack marker and got this:

There are 3 attack markers, each with a build limit of 1 per settlement. Once you build it, you can pick it up to move it, if you don't like the location.

This was the first and only one I had placed of any of the attack markers. I'll try markers 2 and 3 later and see what happens.
