I have, I even tried that middle plan ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55058 ), but my game froze(kinda) after it was built. If its missing key mods to effectively work, then I don't know what because the author doesn't say

Its a contest entry. The only things required are FO4 and SS2.
They may have recommended add on packs but not having them wouldn't cause the plan to fail/crash.
