Hi, I was having a similar problem to another thread when fast traveling to one specific settlement (Taffington Boathouse): it would always immediately crash to desktop.
Trying to walk in from nearby, I would have an extreme drop in FPS when the settlement first started loading, and from a distance I could see that it was specifically drawing two industrial plots (now identified as two copies of Tina's Toys for Tots, both at level 3, side-by-side). Once it finished drawing the plots, FPS became normal again for a bit, but it would still crash to desktop very soon thereafter.
If I disable Industrial City, the plots are cleared and the settlement returns to normal totally.
I will upload a save game to dropbox and DM you to take a look. Is there any way to prune just that one plot type from the mod or save and see if it uniquely that one plot causing me problems? I love Industrial City (and have other settlements with Tina's Toys that do not seem to have any problem).
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Per kinggath's suggestions that FPS problems indicate performance tuning may help, I had already tried the performance suggestions to no avail until I finally found removing Industrial City was all I needed (but do not want to do).
