Any way to stop this? I have other stuff around they can go too, like a bar and central park and other things, and all of these settlers are assigned their own jobs, yet they want to do Jun Long's job...

This seems to be a particular problem at Sanctuary, as that's where it happens to me the most. Abernathy is another - everyone seems to want to pile up inside the main building. Although at Abernathy I think it's more of a pathing issue - settlers generally dislike doorways and stairs, so when they get inside the main building they tend to get stuck there.

It's 9pm in gametime, so they're in the "off work, relaxation hours" part of their AI routine, which means they go find an animation marker they can 'relax' at. If that's the plot I think it is, they do the same for me whenever I build that one, everyone wants to go 'play' at that and nowhere else.

Yeah lots of animation markers on that one (way too many by the looks of it, or the code is wonky). My favorite is probably the interior hospital/organics plot though. Everyone really likes to take a sick leave.

The scripts getting them to run around and do things can take a while to kick in (in my experience). So if your just visiting briefly that might be whats happening. Id probably try reassigning people and see if that makes them spring to life. Another theory is there might be a problem with Jun so the city just keeps stacking folks on trying to get the job done.

There is a mod that stops them from pathing on the roofs in sanctuary. If you get that problem. Also another mod that removes the hammering animations.
