aiden acting as a follower

anyone else here had the bug where, i left vault 81 and said too aiden i will meet up with him for the plaza attack, but ever since inc completing sunken treasure quest and fast travel around the map, aidens following me around and acting as a follower repeating i can smell war...

Sounds like maybe the scripts didn't fire correctly. Do you have a save from close to after you finished the conversation in Vault 81 so I can check and make sure this was a fluke and not a bug in the quest setup?

thanks for the reply, dont think my save is useful as my game is modded almost exactly like your child of atom playthrough (plus i have depravity, valkyrie,tales of the commonwealth). which i started from ss2 launch. i have managed to get through most of ss2 with a small amount of issues,but edmund wont talk either, even before the aiden issue. i have a save but its probaly to corrupted to be used. let me know if it would be useful

Is your load order smaller than what wleer72 has described? I'd love to see a save of this issue to make sure its not a bug in the mod.
